Lady Pointe by Keiko Mecheri is an Eau de Parfum. Ballets inspired this fragrance. Lady Pointe is a mood, a stage, a fantasy. The idea is a new take on clair-obscur: "Cuir" and nebulous flowers. The result is a fusion of fragility and femininity with the dark: its embodies the powerful allure of dance.

In prelude, the composition feels bright and radiant with soft citrus notes. At heart, a rare and delicate orchid unfolds its powdery whiff; layered with musky suede, it has the feel of second skin. In counterpoint, the dry-down arrives slowly in a shawl of dark roses, mossy patchouli and soft incense. Citrus Notes, Black Currant Buds, Orchid, Suede Chord,  Rose, White Musk, Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Moss Incense, White Sandalwood.

A rich floral, it smells very strong with the first spray but drys softly. Received many compliments wearing this one

This is a mature fragrance. The “powdery orchid” is what hits first; which, unfortunately, is not a favorite for me. It does dry down nicely and definitely exhibits more appealing notes, once there. Still not a favorite for me, but overall I believe it could be a nice fragrance for some.
