Franck Boclet Sugar is an Extrait de Parfum. Like a delicious marshmallow, the notes are greedy, tart, fruity and amber. The top notes are bergamot, marshmallow, blackcurrant, honey and coconut. The fruity and gourmand heart is brought by pear, jasmine, peach, vanilla and caramel. The fragrance finally closes with notes of orange blossom and raspberry combined with those of white musk and violet. A romantic and sensual accord like the song for a vintage comeback "Sugar sugar, you are my candy girl and you got me wanting you..."

Franck Boclet is a French designer of women's & men's fashions. With his background in textile engineering, Boclet's designs speak to both his fashion sense and technical background. It is a very bold scent that exudes warm sugar, so the scent name is accurate. Personally, I do not care for these types of scents, but this one is tolerable as the different notes come out throughout the day.

I found this very strong and musky. I expected it to be a lot sweeter, I did not get the marshmallow at all. It's a very mature smell. Was not a fan.

At first, I was unsure of this scent. When it is first aplied, it smells very strongly of amber and essential oils. After it dried down and wore off some, I could smell the sweeter scents in the perfume. It dried down into more of a sweet powdery marshmallow scent with undertones of marshmallows and has a bit of a fruity scent coming through at the end. It is a very strong scent and wears all day. I am enjoying wearing it! I generally go for more sweet/gourmand scents, but I'm really enjoying the depth of scents in this perfume!

This sweet and spicy fragrance is a powerful statement stunner! It is strong, as observed by other reviewers, but as it dries down, its sweetness matures into a velvet-like warmth. If you are put off by Sugar's opening intensity, give it time: it may grow on you as it did on me.

This one got compliments from the husband!!!! I really like this fragrance. It's is very different than I imagined. Because of the name, I thought is was going to be a sweet fragrance, which I like. But it is not really a sweet fragrance, I wouldn't even say it is a gourmand fragrance. It is a musky fragrance, but not an overpowering musk, a pretty feminine musk. Quite beautiful. The opening is misleading, but the dry down is fantastic. It's like you got to get to know her, once she settles down into your skin, it's lovely. Longevity is great, sillage is low, she is not loud, you won't smell her across the room.

I love this scent. I figured I would love it after reading the ingredients. It is definitely just as it’s name suggests, sugary sweet. Would love a bottle of the 3.4oz size but it’s a little more than my budget can handle this month. Maybe next month.

It’s a nice sent, but not at all what I was expecting, I think it’s a bit more masculine and mature than I would like, not for me, I can’t really smell the marshmallow or caramel, mostly just musky, smooth florals in my opinion.
