Very Strong! Better for night out than daytime. This is not my favorite by Juliette Has A Gun.

By far my favorite fragrance from JHAGun. Second fave is Miss Charming, third is Moscow Mule. Lady Vengeance is a scent that evokes a woman who is confident, driven and likes having power. Evocative of a dominatrix, a successful businesswoman and a confident sexy woman who loves a good patent leather stiletto and red lipstick. This is an aromatic floral without sweetness or fruityness. Not powdery or too heavy in spices. Definitely a strong scent that demands attention; with ambroxan and lavender giving the power, the rose and patchouli add sexiness and mystery, while the bergamot adds a playful edge to the mix. I usually wear this out for afternoon dinners, formal meetups, interviews, and anywhere I feel i need to feel powerful, grown up, but still feel feminine and attractive. Wear-time of 5-6 hrs with 2 sprays. Projection is good, not overwhelming to others around you.

For some reason, this scent reminds me of my third grade teacher. She was an awesome teacher who I looked up too bit remembered her perfume once I smelled this on me. It's not old lady smelling but a smell of sophistication, maturity yet playful. A very unique scent. One more for the evening.

I've tried this out a few times before reviewing. I love rose chypres! I'll preface by saying I really love the classic chypres like Lauder's Beautiful and Aromatics Elixir (yeah...those "old lady" smelling ones!) On me, Lady Vengeance is much softer and quieter than the classics. There is a sweet note to it that gives it a more youthful touch. I don't love it enough to buy a full bottle, but right now it's a nice addition to my collection.

I don't really get the hype around this fragrance. I love all of the notes listed, but the way it's formulated is very... meh. Strong hairspray bomb on the opening which is really unpleasant. Once that dies down, the rose note is quite pleasant - but this one overall is SOFT and barely perceptible. I have a highly trained sense of smell and this one was not what I would call strong at all, confused by some of the other reviews. It's a skin scent on me, doesn't project, silage is quite poor, scent was imperceptible after an hour max - I even asked some coworkers if they could smell my perfume after 2-3h and no one could. The overall feel of this is really synthetic, I wanted to love it but it's probably my least favorite fragrance of the last year.
