Lipstick Fever by Juilette Has A Gun is an Eau de Parfum. It naturally focuses on the historic notes used in lipsticks, inspired by a streak of lipstick. Notes of Iris, Violet absolute and Raspberry. Enhanced with woody notes (Patchouli, Cedarwood) to give it a little refinement and to echo the leather of the handbag so often inseparable from it. A contemporary composition, gourmand, ultimately feminine.

Smooth perfumey lipstick violet scent. Just fruity enough, the vanilla note is perfect.

Although I have enjoyed other perfumes from JHAG, this fragrance does nothing for me. I have tried it several times over the last few weeks, and each time, I experience the same results: Faint, fruity top-note which dissipates quickly to near nothing. Then, over the next two to three hours I get little wisps of "lipstick" tainted cigarette (mental picture of college roommate's ashtray, half filled with cigarette butts stained with red lipstick). The smell reminds me a bit of Swisher Sweet cigarillos, which is another nostalgic scent for me, but absolutely nothing I want to revisit. I may try this again in a month or two and I'll update if my results have changed.

I really enjoy this fragrance. It's definitely a heavier warmer scent that's perfect for winter and fall. It lasts a decent amount of time on me as well.

I am also a patchoulli hater. Not overdone in this fragrance. Lasted well on my skin. I also appreciate the change in this fragrance over time.
