Sultry, smoky, woody and cooled by a marine breeze. Airy and aromatic in the opening with notes of eucalyptus, clary sage, mandarin and pineapple. A floral heart with an absolute of narcissus and tuberose – a nod to the Mexican flavour of this city. And a shimmering smoky woody base with cade, guaiac, nagarmotha / cypriol, musks and heliotrope.

The opening comes woodsy and aromatic. I love the pineapple and mandarin orange. I did not smell the florals on me became sweet and soft. I really like this one. I will be trying the rest of the collection.

Starts out strong then softens with lovely notes of pineapple. Very different then anything I have. I like it but I'm not sure I love it.

I really like this fragrance. Soft and slightly sweet. The floral notes are just enough, not too feminine.

It is rare I have love at first sniff of a fragrance, but I do love this. It is very smooth and very balanced. It doesn't really hit me with "fruity" or "floral" at all, but just something really wonderful. I do spend a lot of time in LA and the beach towns, and think this does capture a warm and hip vibe without trying too hard. It has strength to it, the tiniest bit of spice, wood, and almost old pipe tobacco that has lingered on something, but is not over evocative of "masculine" or "feminine" scents. It smells unique, not like going down the shelf at makeup stores, or wandering around a big department store where everything seems either the same, or overdone to try to stand out in the "crowd" of scent, almost like "shouting to be heard." I am sensitive/alergic to many "fragrances" and have no allergic reaction to smell or application of this. (Some fragrances give me an instant headache, some instantly make my skin itch.) This is just lovely. I have worn it on my wrists the better part of the day, and I love that it lasts without leaving a trail. I live in a house of super smellers who did not object to this, either initially or as it wore. Truly, very very lovely. I have a feeling a bigger bottle will be necessary.

I cannot join the chorus of lovers of this fragrance. The pineapple and tobacco are too overpowering for me to enjoy the more subtle notes described. Perhaps it will grow on me as I use it and I admit that it is long-lasting. Just not subtle enough for me.

Starts out very promising, clean, fresh, floral with some citrus! I'm actually falling in love with this one. It seriously reminds me of Los Angeles! Recommended!
