Honour 43 Woman elevates Amouage’s heady white floral perfume inspired by Madame Butterfly to new heights. Presented in a 43% perfume oil concentration, a quartet of white flowers - Jasmine, Tuberose, Gardenia, Lily of the Valley -  come together in a showstopping crescendo, revealing a more harmonized and smoother rendition of this iconic scent.

What makes Honour 43 Woman an "Exceptional Extrait"? 
Per the brand Amougae, "A fragrance is usually a mix of a concentrate (containing fragrant oils) and an alcoholic base. Some fragrances can also contain a bit of water and additives like liquid UV filters, stabilizers or colourants. Therefore, fragrances with a higher fragrance concentration contain more perfume oils and less alcohol, and vice-versa.
Usually, a higher perfume oil concentration means an increased performance of the fragrance (particularly longer lasting scent) – but the impact of oil concentration is much more complex and varies depending on each formula."

Amouage's Honour 43 Exceptional Extrait's scent immediately made me think of sophisticated elegance when I first sprayed it on. It's also soft, gives no headache, and long-lasting. You first smell the gardenia but then after a while, the scent switches to tuberose which can become overwhelming. I can imagine this being a scent I would wear in 20 years, I think it's too mature for me now.

I really liked the original Honor so I was certain I would love this but strangely I do not at all. It’s just has something in it that messes up the whole package. I don’t know how to explain it but it was a No! For me!

Heavy scent in the beginning. Nice when it mellows, clean and mature but not an old lady type scent.
