Intense and strong. You will be noticed when walking into a room. I would say great evening scent. The sandalwood and patchouli really stood out on my skin with a tint of vanilla.

I love musky, woodsy perfumes and this is the best!! I smell a vanilla musk w a hint of BLACK ORCHID and it's the best.

This smells so Amazing! It's very captivating,dark,and mysterious. I"d wear this on a hot summer night out. Very sexy scent.

While the quality of ingredients is decent, this is heavy and brash rather than smooth. It has been compared to Black Orchid by Tom Ford, someone even said it is better. But with BO, there is an unpleasant loud patchouli opening that softens to something smooth and elegant, and totally wearable. While I was hoping Dark Orchid would be like BO, but smoother top to bottom, without the unpleasant element, I found this is even stronger and darker, definitely rougher, and louder than I like. Should appeal to people who like very heavy dark Oriental perfumes.

I joined LUXSB to find some unique and different scents. I have to say, this one wasn’t for me. I have never been a fan of unisex both for me, and my husband. But I wanted to give this one a try and really wanted to like it. It is too musky and not feminine enough for me. I’m not into the overly floral and sugary scents, but this one made me feel like I was spraying on men’s cologne. However, on my husband, it smelled a little too feminine for his taste. There is a scent out there for everyone and while I can truly appreciate this scent, it just isn’t for me.

I actually got this on accident. This scent is too deep too dark too intense too loud. And I like all these types in a scent but even this fragrance is too much for me. It's very heady and heavy but yet quite mysterious. It's just not the scent for me. I gave it to my mom.

It's warm spicy with just enough fruit and sweetness to make it completely desirable and sexy. It really lasts on me and it's fall out is just as exciting as when I first put it on.

This is a very rich and deep exotic scent. Definitely a date night scent. My coworker joined Luxe Scent Box just to get this scent after I wore it to work, so you will get noticed wearing it.

This scent is WAY too strong for my taste. There’s a note in it that I just don’t like. I got it because most of the reviews were good but not for me.

At first, I thought I had been sent the wrong spray. It was so strong that I was almost overwhelmed by it. But once it died down I was soooo pleased. I'm sitting here, and I literally can smell the one sprits I sprayed on. It starts out smelling almost spicy but legit changes scents as it lingers. I am 100% satisfied with this perfume.

My friend and I both love strong, deep, rich scents. This one is no different. With a name like Dark Orchid, from a house that means "love for Oud" you know you'll get a strong, powerful fragrance that demands attention. Definitely not a fragrance for sensitive noses, not for citrus and light floral lovers, or fun-loving mainstream perfume wearers. This one is for the goths, the witchy and mysterious personalities that do their own thing and are unapologetic about going against the crowd. I gave this as a gift to my friend, who is a fan of the Tom Ford Black Orchid, and she absolutely loved this scent!!! To her, it was the fragrance that the Tom Ford brand was supposed to be, richer, heavier, more complex and luxurious. A lovely, rich blend of florals, spices and incense, that develop as it dries down. Great projection and lasting power, from one spray. This has become her "special occasion and date night" perfume that makes a statement.

Really... really bad. Overall it's a darker scent but there's something almost cloying sweet in the background that makes it very unpleasant. The florals also smell artificial. Beneath all that it's nice but the bad parts just sit from the opening to the dry down.

Smells great, very spicy and kind of woody. However, it is strong. You'll smell great all day. Literally sprayed this on my wrist to test smell when I received my package and my family all had great reviews to share about the scent. Definitely a date night smell!
