Franck Boclet Ashes is an Eau de Parfum. In the top notes, absinthe and clove are quickly blended in the heart by the woody and ashy notes of gaiac, patchouli, Virginia cedar and Atlas. The amber and oriental trail with amber, musk and frankincense gives it a sensual and mysterious touch.

About the Brand

Franck Boclet is a French designer of women's & men's fashions. With his background in textile engineering, Boclet's designs speak to both his fashion sense and technical background. Working for a series of top designers including Kenzo, Arrow, Francesco Smalto and Ungaro, Boclet founded his own men's fashion design house in 2010, a specialist in Black & White, Franck Boclet combines in his creations the timeless references of Rock & Riot fashion with the Traditional world of Luxury. I love and hate this fragrance so much. It smells AMAZING.... on my husband Was really hoping this would be a true unisex scent but it's extremely masculine. This is such a unique scent -  It smells exactly how I imagined Lestat from Interview with a Vampire would smell. Dark, moody, brooding, weird, grounding, spicy, a bit goth, dramatic af... it's not for everyone, but if you're into complex profiles you'll likely love this! The absinthe, clove, and patchouli combination is really spectacular. Reminds me a bit of Quartana's Bloodflower. This is a scent for a confident man that wants to make an entrance. Would be perfect for: reading in old libraries, writing the next Lovecraft-style novel at a midnight coffee house, teaching a college class about the history of vampires, sipping absinthe in a dimly lit French Quarter bar, dancing at a goth club, having a picnic in an old cemetery, attending a Sisters of Mercy/Bauhaus/Cure concert, etc :)  Would love if they made a less musky/more feminine version of this, I'd buy in a heartbeat!
