Franck Boclet Ashes is an Eau de Parfum. In the top notes, absinthe and clove are quickly blended in the heart by the woody and ashy notes of gaiac, patchouli, Virginia cedar and Atlas. The amber and oriental trail with amber, musk and frankincense gives it a sensual and mysterious touch.

I love and hate this fragrance so much. It smells AMAZING.... on my husband Was really hoping this would be a true unisex scent but it's extremely masculine. This is such a unique scent -  It smells exactly how I imagined Lestat from Interview with a Vampire would smell. Dark, moody, brooding, weird, grounding, spicy, a bit goth, dramatic af... it's not for everyone, but if you're into complex profiles you'll likely love this! The absinthe, clove, and patchouli combination is really spectacular. Reminds me a bit of Quartana's Bloodflower. This is a scent for a confident man that wants to make an entrance. Would be perfect for: reading in old libraries, writing the next Lovecraft-style novel at a midnight coffee house, teaching a college class about the history of vampires, sipping absinthe in a dimly lit French Quarter bar, dancing at a goth club, having a picnic in an old cemetery, attending a Sisters of Mercy/Bauhaus/Cure concert, etc :)  Would love if they made a less musky/more feminine version of this, I'd buy in a heartbeat!

This is truly amazing, very warm and spicy and as someone said earlier, very sexy! I love the scent of inscense in a winter fragrance which is very masculine.
