Now, the once fleeting sweetness of the cassis berries was prominent, but never sugary, and the woodland scent that seemed ethereal before, was heavier and darker, as the patchouli and sandalwood blended better. The jasmine and narcissus blooms really added an edge to the sweetness of the bourbon vanilla that turned this once pretty, light "fairy" scent, into a sensual and alluring evening perfume. I am completely in love with this more developed and sophisticated fragrance, and it became one of my faves! Not as deep and sweet as the Black Tulip from this brand, but much more woody and floral. I wear it all day, but I suppose it could be considered an evening, and fall to early spring scent.
If you chose this one, let the notes develop for a time, if it seems like a light scent. It's worth the patience!
